The CCP will hold its annual “EARTH DAY CELEBRATION” on April 21, 2013 and will focus on the theme “SAVE THE BAY, SAVE OUR CITIES”. Since the year 2006, the CCP has been actively promoting the concept of arts and culture for life not only through its artistic programs but also by initiating creative activities to support the advocacies for Mother Earth.
The whole day program will have the ff activities:
6:00-7:00am — Fun Run around the CCP complex
7:00-8:00am — Opening Program w/ performances (CCP Ramp) & formal opening of installation art at the front lawn
8:00am-5:00pm — Exhibits and Fair (Liwasang Kalikasan)
8:00-9:00am — Formation of Advocacy Chains (Baywalk area) by artists, paddlers & bikers, drummers & brass bands, youth groups
9:00-5:00pm — Kids and Family Activities (Liwasang Kalikasan) by Haribon Foundation (storytelling, art making, film screenings)
10:00am-12:00nn — Band Concerts by RockEd (Liwasang Kalikasan)
3:00-5:00pm — Berde Ka Ba Forum by Greenpeace (CCP Ramp)
