The Ateneo Institute of Literary Arts and Practices (AILAP) is accepting applicants for the 13th Ateneo National Writers’ Workshop (ANWW) to be held on May 11-15, 2015, at Ateneo de Manila University.
Each applicant should submit via e-mail a portfolio of any of the following: (a) five poems; (b) three short stories, (c) two plays, (d) three non-fiction essays; or (e) two hybrid texts (i.e., texts in which two or more forms—poetry, prose, image, among others—are used), written in Filipino or English with a title page bearing the author’s pseudonym and a table of contents. The portfolio must be in PDF and Word format.
All submissions must include a separate PDF containing the author’s name, address, contact number, e-mail address and a one-page resume including a literary CV with a 1X1 ID picture. Please e-mail entries to firstname.lastname@example.org; use the subject heading “ANWW 13.”
Alternatively, submissions may be mailed to AILAP c/o Department of Filipino, School of Humanities, 3/F Dela Costa Bldg. Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City 1108. Portfolios sent via postal or courier service to AILAP must be in triplicate, and must be accompanied by a CD containing a file of the documents saved in MSWord or Rich Text format. A separate document of the author info (see above)—placed in a sealed envelope—must also be included.
Fifteen fellows will be chosen from all over the country. Food and accommodations will be provided.
