Israfel Fagela is a lawyer based in Makati City. His poetry and fiction have appeared in Caracoa, Likhaan, the Philippines Free Press, Graphic Magazine, and other publications. He attended the National Writers Workshop in Dumaguete and the UP Writers Workshop in Baguio City as fellow for poetry.
He was active in the rock music scene in the mid-2000s as a performer with his band Los Chupacabras. He still performs as a singer-songwriter, under the name Easy. He released his second solo album, Majorette, in 2016.
