Atilano, Ronald


Ronald Araña Atilano was born in Makati, Metro Manila and grew up in Dasmariñas, Cavite. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology in Intramuros, Manila. As a poet, he became a member of Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika at Anyo (LIRA) and Oragon Poetry Circle, and contributed poetry and essays to the e-zine Tinig.com. He also attended the UP National Writers’ Workshop in 2003 and the Ateneo Writers’ Workshop in 2006. He is currently living in Newcastle, Australia with his wife Eris and daughters Una and Kali.
