The official workshop blog for the 59th UPNWW is now open to the public. As it has done every year, the workshop blog will serve as a portal for updates on the workshop as well as an archive for those who want to pick up insights on the writing process.
Visit the website at 59thupnww.panitikan.ph
There will also be a live stream (follow our Facebook and YouTube accounts!) for workshop sessions, extension lectures, and the opening and closing ceremonies. For those who prefer small doses, we will also be tweeting live from our official Twitter account @upnww.
For the fuller view of the workshop, stay tuned to the website. Summaries will be posted at the end of each day. Visitors may also read about the poetics of each fellow, which answers the what, how, and why of their writing. These will be uploaded during each of the twelve workshop sessions.
There may not be a physical venue for the workshop this year, but photos of the sessions will still be available on the website for those interested in seeing how a writing workshop persists in the new normal.
The website also includes information about the workshop, its current fellows and panelists, and the staff of the UP Institute of Creative Writing. For inquiries, there is a contact form and social media links.
For any questions regarding the 59th UP National Writers Workshop, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or message us at the official Likhaan Facebook page.
Tomorrow is the big day, and we’re super excited to work with the fellows in bringing out better stories. We’re looking forward to having you all join us. See you!
