The Ateneo Library of Women’s Writings (ALiWW) cordially invites you to CONVERSATIONS ON ARCHIVAL RESEARCH (with focus on the ALiWW holdings), on Monday, 1 September 2014, at 4:30 – 6:00 p.m., at the ALiWW Reading Room Basement, Rizal Library Special Collections Building. Moderated by the Executive Director of the Ateneo Library of Women’s Writings, Jema M. Pamintuan, PhD, the session will feature the following:

  • An overview of archival research by Vernon R. Totanes, PhD (Director, Rizal Library), which will include his experiences in doing archival research;
  • A talk by Jonathan O. Chua, PhD (ALiWW Board Member) on his experiences in doing research using the ALiWW archives;
  • An explanation of the ALiWW Research Awards Call for Proposals by Marita Concepcion Castro Guevara, PhD(ALiWW Board Member);
  • A guided tour of the ALiWW holdings by Ms Rosalyn Ocampo (ALiWW archivist); and
  • An opportunity to raise questions and share experiences on archival research.
