The third issue of the Kalayaan Review, the official student publication of Kalayaan College, was launched last March 27, 2015. The Review includes selected fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry and criticism in English and Filipino by students and faculty. This year’s issue was edited by Julio del Prado, Beatrice Adeline Tulagan and Professor Dennis Raymundo.
Kalayaan Literary Circle is a student organization established in 2012 by BA Literature undergraduates. KLC publishes the Kalayaan Review as an annual literary folio that features poems, short stories, one-act plays, creative or critical essays, and comic strips. This year, KLC also published a zine along with the folio called Side B featuring artworks and photography.
Committed to the Kalayaan tradition of academic integrity and excellence in arts and culture, the group also hosts writers’ workshops, book discussions, and poetry readings.
