Teatro Ragayano to stage environmental play to commemorate 2017 World Theater Day

Camarines Sur-based Teatro Ragayano, a finalist in the Best Cultural Group category of the 2016 Aliw Awards, will stage an environmental play to commemorate World Theater Day. This was announced by artistic director Eilyn Nidea recently.

Inaanyayahan po namin kayong lumahok sa Performatura 2017: Performance Literature Festival na nakatakdang idaos mula Marso 31 hanggang Abril 2 sa Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) at Liwasang Balagtas, Pandacan, Maynila, simula 9:00 ng umaga. The Nagkahiusang Magsusulat sa Cagayan de Oro (NAGMAC), in partnership with the Xavier University Department of English Language and Literature (XU DELL), CHED Center of Development in Literature in Mindanao, is now accepting applications for the 2nd Cagayan de Oro Writers Workshop to be held from 03 to 07 April 2017. This year, fourteen (14) fellowships are available to emerging writers who were born and/or are currently based in all Mindanaoan regions—Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, and the ARMM.
