In preparation for next year’s celebration, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), and the National Book Development Board (NBDB) are issuing a call for ideas, proposals, and existing projects that can be included to the official celebration of the 2019 National Literature Month.
April is the National Literature Month (Buwan ng Panitikan) in the Philippines.
For the past three years, the National Literature Month has been reaching out to the public and to the regions. It is also starting to gain appreciation among different institutions and civic organizations. Different literary organizations and educational institutions have expressed their interests on how they can partake and contribute to the nationwide festivities.
Received project concepts will be reviewed by the Technical Working Group and may form part of the celebration of the 2019 National Literature Month.
You may submit your proposals at firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for submission of proposals is on September 15, 2018. For inquiries, you may call Ms. Vanessa M. Nicolas at 5272192 loc 302.
