Patricia Celina Ngois a writer of children’s literature. She is the author of Blanket/Kumot, part of the Picture Poetry Series of Anvil Publishing. She has also won the Palanca Award thrice for her children’s poetry in English: Ordinary Adventures(2015), Miniature Masterpieces(2016), and Magical Mall of Mysteries (2017). Her poetry collections aim to inspire a sense of wonder and celebrate the beauty in the everyday. Her children’s poems are written in rhyme to make the reading experience for children more fun, engaging, and memorable.
Patricia was a fellow for fiction during the 57th UP National Writers Workshop. Her workshop piece was a story written for children.
Patricia was a panelist in the 2016 Philippine Readers and Writers Festival for “Picture Poetry: Writing and Illustrating Children’s Poetry.”
Although Patricia primarily writes children’s literature, she also delves into other genres. As a graduate of BS Management Engineering from the Ateneo de Manila University, she enjoys discussing business-related matters. She also enjoys talking and writing about food and runs an Instagram account at @patngoeats. At 22 years old, she aims to continue exploring writing possibilities further.
