The three-month residency is from April 5 to July 2, 2021. These fifteen LGBTQIA+ artists (15) from Laguna will receive support and guidance from 6 LGBTQ+ art practitioners, experienced in their fields, to explore queer site, identity, embodiment, and belonging (or lack thereof) within the restrictions as well as the unexpected creative spaces and moments generated by the pandemic; to think through ways and methods of presenting and reaching an online audience. The residency will culminate with a virtual gallery showcasing all artworks. A documentary film will explore the creative process of the artists and their artworks.
