🎈 KAARAWAN: Celebrating Drunken Poetry Night’s 7th Year
Online Open Mic (Free Access via Pre-registration)
June 11 | 9:45pm-12:00mn
Seventh birthdays usually call for a big celebration. But because we can’t throw a live event due to Covid19 restrictions, we are bringing the DPN party online via Zoom. Open to local and international participants from anywhere in the world (although please note that Filipino and English will be the main conversation languages)
The theme “Kaarawan, Kasarinlan, Kalayaan” is just a jumpoff point; any theme/topic is welcome. No pressure if you just want to listen in too!

🍋 KASARINLAN: Celebrating World Gin Day with DIY Cocktails
Happy Hour (For paying guests; open to Metro Manila participants only)
June 11 | 8:30pm-9:30pm
What made DPN super fun during its pre-pandemic editions were the face-to-face camaraderie and collective drunkenness that accompanied the live readings. For DPN16, we experiment with recreating this experience by organizing an online Happy Hour before the main program.
For a fee, you will receive a DIY cocktail kit and exclusive access to the VIP Happy Hour. Together we will learn how to make two gin cocktails with our partner DrinkManila, for an extra shared experience you don’t get in your regular e-numans! Plus extra chika time with the organizers, wink wink.
Limited to 10 participants from Metro Manila due to delivery coverage; payment confirmation required to secure a spot. Availing the Happy Hour promo already entails you access to the main program.
